As Vice President of one of CALIBRE’s six domains, Logistics Management, Mr. E. Joseph Goodbody is responsible for the delivery of CALIBRE’s logistics management services. Areas of unique corporate stewardship under his leadership include logistics business information management, value / supply chain integration and modeling, value / supply chain management visibility, and worldwide logistics operations and training support.
With more than 39 years of experience in the Defense market, Mr. Goodbody has established himself as an expert and trusted advisor in logistics business management. Since joining CALIBRE in 1999, Mr. Goodbody has led and been the primary customer interface for projects that provide logistics management analysis as well as integration of information technologies for logistics, supply chain, and related financial information. As a result of his efforts, CALIBRE provides whole sale and retail logistics capabilities to our nation’s warfighters.
Mr. Goodbody served for 28 years as a U.S. Army officer as well as 4 years in market development with an international firm. Key military assignments include Chief, Supply Policy Division, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, G4 Logistics; Commander, Division Support Command, Second Armored Division, Fort Hood, TX; and Industrial Mobilization Staff Officer, Joint Chiefs of Staff, J4 Logistics Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Mr. Goodbody received his B.A. in Business from University of Nebraska, Omaha and a M.S. in Logistics Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and is a certified professional logistician.
