As Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Chopin provides leadership on the sales and delivery plans and business functions of CALIBRE’s operational elements and one wholly-owned subsidiary.
Mr. Chopin joined CALIBRE in 2000, serving as the Vice President, Installation & Land Management. During this time, he established himself as an expert on sustainable range management and other facility management support to the U.S. Army and other agencies. His efforts allowed CALIBRE to provide services to public and private sector customers that helped ensure they achieved their mission in an effective and efficient manner.
Prior to joining CALIBRE, Mr. Chopin served for 30 years as an officer in the U.S. Army in a number of command and staff positions. Key assignments include the Headquarters, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Fort Monroe, VA, as Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, Base Operations and U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Huachuca, AZ as Garrison / Base Commander.
Mr. Chopin received his B.B.A. in Management from Georgia State University and a M.S. in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
