- Community Learning and Education Centers (CLCs): CALIBRE can assess the educational needs unique to your community and then design a CLC based on those needs. A CLC uses distance learning technology to bring a variety of educational programs to a community. These can include vocational training courses, General Education Degree (GED) programs, English as a Second Language (ESL), or programs of specific interest to your community. A CLC can play a vital role in business retention, economic development and downtown revitalization. While a CLC is not designed to be degree producing, it can complement your local community colleges and educational institutions.
