May 5, 2010   Tarak G. Modi joins CALIBRE Systems, Inc. as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

As Vice President and CTO, Mr. Modi is responsible for planning and coordination of CALIBRE’s information technology vision, goals, budgets, and initiatives that support the company’s long term objectives across and at each of CALIBRE’s locations.

Mr. Modi has over 15 years of experience aligning business and IT in both federal civil and private sectors. As an industry recognized thought leader, Mr. Modi has co-authored Professional Java Web Services; published over 80 articles on the transformative nature of Information Technology; and regularly speaks about the business impacts of Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Computing, and Service Oriented Architecture.

Mr. Modi has an MBA in Information Systems, an MS in Computer Engineering, and a BE in Instrumentation and Control. He also has many industry recognized certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
