William O. Maxwell
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Maxwell, as CALIBRE's Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (EVP & CFO), is charged with financial and information technology operations, strategic financial planning, capital structure, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and 401(k) management, and is the primary liaison with the Defense Contracts Audit Agency (DCAA).
Mr. Maxwell joined CALIBRE in 2005 as Director, Finance and Accounting | Controller and was promoted to Vice President, Finance and Accounting | Controller in December 2008. He was appointed EVP & CFO for CALIBRE in December 2011.
Mr. Maxwell began his professional career in accounting operations and internal audit in the manufacturing industry. He entered the government contracting industry in 1995 as an Accounting Manager for Bombardier. Mr. Maxwell relocated to the capitol region in 1997, where he served as Controller for INRANGE & Aurora Flight Sciences.
Mr. Maxwell is a CPA licensed in VA and has an MBA from the Katz Business School. He is Chair of the Government Contracting Committee of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants NOVA Chapter, and a Director of the Institute of Management Accountants Nations Capital Chapter, as well as a member of the AICPA.
