Corporate Culture
CALIBRE
is more than just a place to work.
You will find an exciting environment at CALIBRE that is full
of opportunities for personal and professional growth. You will
also discover a positive and friendly corporate culture where
good work is both encouraged and rewarded. CALIBRE also provides
many occasions to have fun and contribute to the community.
We work and play hard together as a team.
The “CALIBRE Attitude and Morale Patrol” (CAMP) is a group of
employee volunteers responsible for organizing a wide range
of social gatherings, recreational events, and community outreach
activities for employees and their families. This includes ice
cream socials, potluck lunches, and chili cook-offs held at
work periodically throughout the year. Outside of work, we enjoy
ourselves at the annual company picnic, holiday dinner, and
golf tournament; the rafting trips and hikes in local national
parks; and outings to major and minor league baseball games…just
to name a few. Many of us also play on the CALIBRE softball
team or take part in after-work basketball.
We practice good citizenship and community outreach.
The notion of “being a good citizen” is so important at CALIBRE
that we have made it one of our six corporate objectives. We
participate in a wide variety of community outreach activities
including hosting blood drives for the American Red Cross, participating
in the Adopt-a-Highway program, supporting the US Marine Corps
Reserve Toys for Tots program, partnering with a local school
for tutoring and other support, and participating in numerous
other charitable events and programs. We also support our employees
who serve as National Guard and Reserve soldiers. We continually
strive to be good members of our local communities and seek
opportunities to make useful contributions.
